Welcome to Cyant! (“Cyant” or “We”, “Us” or “Our” is committed to your privacy. This notice describes our Privacy Policy and how we treat data collected on our website, mobile app and through or services (“Site and Services”) accessible through mobile devices, computers and tablets. The Cyant Privacy Policy is intended to inform and advise you about how We collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide. By visiting this site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.  When we refer to “you”, “your” we are referring to the visitors to the Sites and Services, users of the Sites and Services and subscribers to the Sites and Services.


WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and to improve the Services, to administer your use of the Site and Services. Therefore, except as set forth below, we only collect personal information necessary to provide the services you use and except as necessary to provide those services, we do not share your personal information with third parties.

A.  Personal Information. Your use of our Sites and Services is voluntary. However, if you wish to use the Sites and Services, we may ask you to provide us with, or grant us access to, or permission to obtain, certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Information"). Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, your name, the names of your guests attending our workshops, phone number, address or other billing information, email address and postal address.  We use this information to confirm your identity, communicate with you regarding the Site and Services and provide the Services you have requested. For example, Personal Information is your email address, which you provide to us on our website, when you subscribe to our newsletter, when you purchase a product or a Service on our website, or when you contact us.

B. Automatic Tracking Information.  As you navigate the Sites and Services,  Cyant may collect information automatically using web tracking technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and clear GIFs and third party tracking servicessuch as Google Analytics in order to ensure thatthe Sites and Services operate efficiently and to collect data related to usage of the Sites and Services. Such collected data ("Tracking Information") may include the address of the websites you visited before and after you visited the Sites and Services, the type of browser you are using, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, what pages in the Sites and Services you visit and what links you clicked on, and whether you opened email communicationsCyant sends to you. In order to collect Tracking Information and to make your use of the Sites and Services more responsive to your needs and more efficient, Cyant may store cookies on your computer.  Cyant may also use one or more web tracking technologies that are placed in web pages on the Sites and Services or in email communications to collect information or about actions that users take when they interact with the Sites and Services or such email communications. Cyant does not link Tracking Information to individual user Personal Information or include the Personal Information with the Tracking Information that Cyant shares with the web tracking companies that use and process the Tracking Information. Some Tracking Information may include log or other data, such as IP address data, that is unique to you. You may be able to modify your browser settings to alter which web tracking technologies are permitted when you use the Sites and Services, but this may affect the performance of the Sites and Services.


HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION

In general, the Personal Information we may collect is used to help us communicate with you. For example, we use Personal Information to contact users in response to questions, solicit feedback from users, provide assistance and inform our users about news, updates and promotional offers. We may employ 3rd party companies and individuals to facilitate the Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform website and application-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, posting your comments on blog pages, credit card processing, web analytics and improvement of the Services' features) or to assist us in analyzing how our Site and Services are used. These 3rd parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.  For goods and services purchased directly via our Sites and Services it is necessary that our payments service provider stores credit card data and Personal Information necessary to process payment, fulfill refunds if permitted, fraud monitoring and internal analysis.  Our payments service provider has its own privacy policy. Cyant does not store credit card numbers or personal information related to purchases but will have access to such information stored with 3rd Party Service providers that fulfill your orders. We use a 3rd Party Service to send our newsletter to subscribers and the email addresses of subscribers are provided to that 3rd Party Service for the purpose of sending emails from us.  If you post comments on blogs or other parts of the Sites and Services you are authorizing us to share such comments with the public.

In general, we use Automatic Tracking Information to help us improve our website, mobile application, services and products, and customize the user experience. We may also create and/or aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on our website, services and mobile application. This privacy policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to third parties at our discretion.

Cyant may also disclose Personal and Automatic Tracking Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Further, Cyant may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your Personal Information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.


CHILDREN

Our website, services and mobile applications are designed to provide content and features for a range of users and ages including children under 13. However, we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from or about children without parental consent and have gateways in several areas to ensure that children under the age of 13 do not submit or share Personal Information. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at info@cyant.co. We will work to remove such information within a reasonable time.

We offer the option to order 3D prints of 3D models created on our mobile application via a 3rd Party Vendor for the convenience of all users with gateways to ensure that children under the age of 13 do not use these parts of the Sites and Services without parental consent. We encourage you to remain aware of your children’s activity on our website and mobile application, and make sure your child does not have nor uses your payment information without your consent.


International Transfer

Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, Cyant transfers Personal Information to the United States and processes it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.


How We Protect Your Information

The privacy and protection of your information is important to us. Except as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not make any Personal Information available to third parties without your permission or authorization and take reasonable steps to secure your Personal Information. The security of your Personal Information and that of your customers is important to us. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.


OPT OUT RIGHTS

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
You can stop all collection of information by our mobile application easily by ceasing to use it and/or uninstalling the application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Your California Privacy Rights
California residents may request and obtain from us, once a year, free of charge, a list of third parties, if any, to which we disclosed their Personal Information for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year and the categories of Personal Information shared with those third parties. If you are a California resident and wish to obtain that information, please submit your request by sending us an email at support@cyant.com with "California Privacy Rights" in the subject line or by writing to us at support@cyant.com


LINKS TO OTHER SITES OR SERVICES

Throughout our website, mobile application and services, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites, applications and services, collectively referred to as 3rd Party links. For example, our Site and Services uses a 3rd Party eCommerce Service and our mobile application provides a link to a 3rd Party 3D Printing Service.
In using those links, you may be prompted to provide Personal Information by the link, which may be necessary to the fulfillment of the service offered by the link.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those 3rd Party links, or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy also does not apply to those 3rd Party links nor do the Privacy Policies of 3rd Party links apply to our website, applications and services. When you use a 3rd Party link, the Privacy Policy of that link will be in effect. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of 3rd Party Links before proceeding to use them.


CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

This policy is in effect as of its last revision date. However, we may from time to time modify or update this policy. We will provide notification of such changes via our newsletter and on the website and app. We'll also update the "Last Updated Date" to indicate when those changes will become effective. We also encourage you to regularly check this page for updates.
